These are extremely competitive and the deadlines are much in advance of the session.

Entry Requirements to study Masters

Most Universities in UK prefer an overall of 60% marks in the UG degree, whilst some also require 70–75% min for a Master’s course. Some Universities will accept 50–60%, any additional qualification or work experience also helps. Students with a low percentage can apply for a Pre-Masters course in an attempt to study in UK. MBA programs are one of the most sought-after programs in the UK. The duration of work experience required for an MBA program is from 0–4 years. Many Universities accept students without work experience as well. Most AMBA accredited University requirements will include GMAT with 25 years of age and minimum of 3 years of full-time work experience after graduation. Moreover, at least one year of Senior-level Management experience is preferred.

Part Time Job Opportunities

Students in UK can work up to 20 hours a week during term time and full-time during vacations. Students planning to study in UK can expect to earn around £ 5 — £ 7 per hour i.e. approximately £375 — £525 per month during the term.

Work Opportunities

International students from a range of countries which include India can stay back in the UK two years upon the completion of the course. Until recently, those who study in UK from India received a stay back of mere four to six months respectively. The new visa applies to students studying any subject at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The new visa will be a distinct one that requires a new application, compromising of payments of visa and health surcharge. A major benefit to study in UK for Indian students is that it gives them an opportunity to look for jobs. Once the graduate finds an appropriate job, they can switch to the skilled work segment which is a route towards settlement. Another major pro of the said regime is that it doesn’t restrict the type of jobs students are permitted to undertake. The new route is set to be launched in the summer of 2021, meaning eligible graduates in the summer of 2021 (Academic Year 2020–21) will be able to apply for this route. This also includes students who have already commenced their course.

What Edwise Students say...

“Hi, I am Pooja Das going for my Masters in Fashion Retail Management at University of Arts London (LCF) this year. This is the biggest opportunity for me and would not have been possible without EDWISE. When they say “Edwise is one stop solution for all international study needs” they are 101% correct. I decided to go for my masters while I was working with an organisation. It was quite challenging for me to manage my MA applications and my official work. So I heard about EDWISE from one of my faculties from NIFT and went to their office for assistance. I was determined to apply for UAL, but the advisers guided me to choose other top universities as well . My counselor was from Delhi South Ex branch. She has been a great adviser and mentor to me; she helped me to apply for all the universities, informed me about the events related to my chosen universities, updated me with the interview dates and their results. She also helped me to apply for my visa and was always there to answer my queries very promptly. The counselors are very professional, friendly and helpful. The best part is that the relation with EDWISE doesn't end here; you are always welcome to seek advise even after you get selected at your desired university. My experience with EDWISE has been wonderful.”

Complete Your Post Graduation with the Best in the World

There are lots of things you’ll want to look out for when choosing a master’s degree. Once you know where you excel and have a rough idea of the career path you want to take, start looking through the options available to you.

Make sure you check the entry requirements for the course. Some require certain qualifications (almost all master’s degrees require the applicant to have an undergraduate degree, and some will want this degree to be in a particular subject), and each will have different expectations for the academic prowess of applicants. Some master’s degrees also require applicants to take graduate admissions tests such as the GMAT or GRE, and if you’re studying internationally, you may need to provide proof of proficiency in the language of tuition.

Post Graduation Study Abroad

Here are some of the key elements to consider when choosing a master’s degree:

Masters in Canada

Considering studying a Masters in Canada? Attracted by the country's reputation for friendliness, its wild and beautiful countryside and, of course, its internationally renowned universities? You’re not alone. Studying a Masters in Canada has become an increasingly popular option for students seeking a high quality postgraduate experience and the number of international students enrolled in Canadian universities has grown exponentially over the past few years. In 1995 there were 25,000 international students in Canada; in 2011 there were over 100,000. They come from more than 200 countries.
You’ll be expected to have a minimum GPA (often of 3.0/4.0 or its international equivalent such a UK upper second class bachelor) for your undergraduate degree. Depending on your subject area, you may be asked to provide a graduate entry test score such as a Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) or Graduate Record Examination (GRE).
